Youth Shoots

For Ages 18 and under

 

2026 Youth Shoots

Dates are: June 6, July 4 and August 1.

 

Come out and enjoy a great time learning to shoot .22 rifle, archery, and trap! 

Youth 6 thru 18 years of age are welcome; subject to size and strength requirements to operate the equipment. 

We provide all of the equipment, all you need to bring is yourself and the desire to have fun.

We have covered benches so we can shoot rain or shine!

Dates:

The first Saturday during summer months (June, July and August).

 

Time:

10:00 am–3:00 pm

 

Where:

Dakota County Gun Club range

 

For directions, see our Driving to the Range page or simply take Highway 3 to the 170th St round-about then go East on 170th St until the paved road ends at stop sign at Station Trail where you turn South (right turn) on paved road continuing past Whitetail Woods Park and continue on the gravel road until it ends at the club (just past the stop sign).
Do NOT use navigation services like Google Maps which will take you the wrong way on UM service roads which are blocked.
