An Incredible Opportunity for a Young Shooter
The Dakota County Gun Club has once again agreed to sponsor one young shooter to go to the Whittington Center Youth Camp this coming June/July.
The camp is a 13 day experience at the incredible New Mexico facility designed to give 13 to 17 year old boys and girls the chance to learn and practice all manner of outdoor shooting activities. This year's camp will be from June 28th through July 10th.
The club will be paying the full camp fees, plus a $500 award to be used for transportation (tickets, gas, etc.).

This opportunity is open to all club member's immediate and associated family members of that age. It requires the
2026 NRA ADVENTURE CAMP application - PDF be filled out that includes a short 2 or 3 page "polished essay" about the Second Amendment. All details are explained on the application form. The deadline for all applications is April 1st, 2026.
