Firearms Safety Classes

The club offers MN DNR certified instruction for youth ages 11 and up and adults.
In Minnesota, those born after December 31, 1979 must have a Firearms Safety Certificate to purchase a license to hunt with a firearm. Other states may have other requirements; check there if you plan to hunt out of state. The MN Firearms Safety Certificate is honored in most other states.
Eligibility

Students must be at least 11 years old to take this class.
Duration
The course requires attendance in all in-person classroom sessions plus the Field Day.

NOTE: The Field Day is ONLY for students taking this in-person class, NOT for online course students.

How to get there: Driving Directions or simply take Highway 3 to 170th St round-about then take 170th St East until the paved road ends at Station Trail where you go South (right turn) continuing past Whitetail Woods Park and follow the gravel road until it ends at the club (just past the stop sign).

(Note: Do NOT rely on Google or Apple Maps. They don't adjust for local road closures.)
